Professional Expertise:

Cheri brings comprehensive ownership insight into her present role as a principal at ONEIL Commercial Advisors (“OCA”).  Having been in the real estate industry since 1983, her background in real estate accounting, property management, development, construction management, landlord leasing, tenant representation, and investment sales coupled with years of market knowledge, provide her with the necessary tools to guide corporate clients seamlessly through any transaction.

Cheri negotiated transactions from the “other side of the table” for institutional and private equity ownership groups for the first half of her career.  Over the past 20 years, Cheri’s sole focus has been on enhancing value for end users of office and industrial space, with strong emphasis on strategic planning, workplace utilization and efficiency, financial analysis, leverage negotiations creating optimal flexibility, and process implementation with particular attention to detail.  Familiarity and solid experience with contract driven assignments contribute to her proven track record in structuring transactions.

Activities & Achievements:

Cheri is Past President and Board Member of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) West Coast Florida District.  She is a past Board Member of the Florida Gulf Coast Association of Realtors (FGCAR).  Cheri is also a member of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CIREI), the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), National Association of Realtors(NAR) and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).  Her Tampa involvement includes membership in FGCAR and the Tierra Verde Business Partnership.  Cheri received the designation of Top 10 Power Broker in 2003, 2004, and 2006 from the CoStar Group.  In addition, she was selected as a 2001 Pinnacle Award Winner, a 2007 Top Office Producer, and consistently a Million Dollar Producer by FGCAR 2008 – 2020.  She was named one of the Top 20 Women in Florida Commercial Real Estate in 2005 by the Florida Real Estate Journal.  Cheri sits on the Board of Directors of Children’s Home Network and Children’s Home Properties.

Education:

Cheri attended Central Michigan University and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker with the State of Florida.  In addition, Cheri has earned the designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
